Rocket Motor Work
Design of my own LOX Methane motor to be 3d printed in copper. Purpose is to study new technology processes to simplify the components and manufacturing of liquid rocket engines.
Acrylic and GOx Motors to teach young students how the different components of a rocket motor work.
Steam Rocket Motors. Currently working on several steam rocket engine designs to break existing world records. Future projects with these will be shown as fabrication nears completion.
Work with University students to design a liquid fueled rocket engine kit for sixty other universities to compete in the FAR/MAR's competition. Kits should be flown in the summer of 2018. Target altitude is 50,000 ft. Kits are to provide the basic components of the rocket, for each University to use, while leaving room for fine tuning the performance of each rocket. Intent is to get university level engineering students hands on experience in complex rocket assemblies.

Snake River 40th Anniversary Jump
Design proposal with Troy Hartman to the city of Twins Falls, Idaho. Performed calculations on trajectory, logistics, and vehicle design. Vehicle was to stay with the classic steam powered rocket engine designed by Robert Truax for Evil Knievel. Project cancelled due to court case between other competing teams who wanted permission to launch from the original launch site.
XCOR Aerospace
Mechanical Engineer, worked on liquid rocket motors using LOX Kerosene, LOX Methane. CAD Model design and analysis for components such as engine blast shields and high pressure filter housings. Weight & balance CAD models of the sub-orbital vehicle LYNX. Worked on component and structure layout for fitment of Lynx vehicle design.
